The countdown to Nottingham is on. On Wednesday 28 October, nine members of the racing community will take to the track for the Heroes Gallop, raising funds to help Autism In Racing create more welcoming and accessible opportunities across British racing.
We want you there to share the moment. Tickets can now be registered for through our events page. Join our Nottingham Autism Friendly Raceday, enjoy the racing and cheer our Heroes all the way home.
Whether you are supporting a particular rider, coming with family or friends, or discovering Autism In Racing for the first time, this is your invitation to be part of the day.

Our 2026 line-up brings together George Bartlett, Helena Bowes, Jennie Durrans, Gemma Hogg, Leonna Mayor, Patrick Mullins, Tara Murphy, Mike Owen and Laura Pike.
Each rider is working towards a £3,000 fundraising target. Every name below has a fundraising page where you can follow their progress, donate and leave a message of encouragement. Meet your Heroes and choose who you will be cheering for.

The Heroes Gallop takes place as part of an afternoon of racing at Nottingham Racecourse. There will be the day's racing to enjoy and a very special reason to gather at the rails when our Heroes take their turn on the track.
Come to cheer for someone you know, support your favourite rider or simply enjoy being part of the occasion. For the people taking on this challenge, seeing supporters there will make the day all the more memorable.
Our Nottingham Autism Friendly Raceday also gives autistic people and their families an opportunity to experience racing with support. Please visit the event listing for the current booking information and attendance arrangements.
Help our Heroes over the finish line
Our riders are putting their time and energy into this challenge. Now we are asking our supporters to help turn that commitment into funds that make a difference.
- Donate to a rider. Choose a fundraising page above and give what you can. Every contribution brings that rider closer to £3,000.
- Share their challenge. Send a rider’s page to friends, family or colleagues. A personal recommendation can introduce the campaign to someone who has never heard of Autism In Racing.
- Get your workplace involved. Share the campaign with your team and explore whether your employer can support a rider or match staff donations.
- Join us on race day. Register to attend and help create a welcoming crowd to cheer our Heroes home.

What we are racing for
Funds raised through the Heroes Gallop support Autism In Racing’s work to make British racing more accessible and welcoming for autistic and neurodivergent people.
That includes Autism Friendly Racedays, quiet and sensory spaces, mentoring, community experiences, and education across the racing industry.
For someone attending a racecourse for the first time, a calmer place to take a break or a host who understands their needs can make a meaningful difference to their day. The Heroes Gallop helps us continue that practical work.
